A Good Question from Al Franken?

I'm in a state of shock! I heard one question that Al Franken asked Sonia Sotomayor. It's almost too shocking to handle! He asked her if "birth control" was mentioned in the Constitution. After being stunned for a brief time, she had to admit it was not. I have to admit that I didn't get to hear the rest of his questions, but I suspect it was a way of Constitution-bashing.

Abortion is NOT in the Constitution. The IRS is NOT in the Constitution. Welfare is NOT in the Constitution. Universal healthcare is NOT in the Constitution. Taxes are in the Constitution, but ONLY the taxes necessary to run the minimal government that the Constitution writers expected. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that the government can take over businesses, either. Or banking.

If we had stayed with the original rules and given equal OPPORTUNITY to everyone, we would not be in the pickle we're having to deal with today. If we don't return to the basics, the pickle will only grow until it swallows us.

I like this venue more. It suits you and gets the job done. Do you have any way for click/reader tabbing?
This article is right on the money. I will bookmark the site and hope to send you more traffic.
Is there any reason you stopped blogging for the former provider?
You and I see eye to eye on so many political issues. I am on Facebook and on Plaxo and Twitter, but under a different name. If you find the time, it would be nice to correspond more often.

Contact me at teleapps77489@ymail, if you wish. This is a very nondescript extra email address that I use soley to hide from spam and undesirables. lol

  2. Hi Edward Allen!

I quit the former site because they allowed undesirables to get away with too much and started punishing people when they complained.

I have a MySpace account under my name, but I don't use it very much. If you want to stay in contact, send me a private message at the other place and we can exchange emails.

When it comes to computers and the internet, I'm half a step above potatoes. I'm not sure what "click/reader tabbing" means... Maybe you could get an account here and see if it's available and talk me through it?

Hope to hear from you soon.

This site is a little hard to get around on compared to the other one, I haven't figured out how to get your new post sent to my email yet so I have to remember to come here and read your post.

  4. It's nowhere near as easy as the other one, Lester. I'm half tempted to go back. This is really confusing for me, too.
