The North on the Fourth

North Korea threatened to hit us with a "devastating" attack on Independence Day. Well, come to find out they did! It wasn't the seven missiles they fired off. It wasn't a nuke aimed at Hawaii. It was a computer attack on our banking, media and military systems. There was no permanent damage done, fortunately. But it could have been disastrous.

The old sleight of hand, folks. Here, see what my right hand is doing (while I poke you in the eye with my left!) This has become a dangerous world. When a tinhorn dictator can expect to damage a more advanced country, it gets even more dangerous. And with no spinal cord in the White House to object, it's only going to get worse.

It's possible that the UN will send them a stern (and worthless) note of displeasure, but that's about all the consequences that Kim Jong (mentally) Ill will ever face. One of these days there will be another attack. Anyone who wants to do us damage is learning quickly that we aren't going to do anything about it if they do. We are becoming an open target with no consequences and the bad guys are paying attention. They are preparing while B.O. (B.S.) is traveling around the world, spouting platitudes.

The only question is, will he drop us back to the stone age or will an enemy get to do it first?

  1. N Korea is just trying to help Obama out by distracting us from Cap and Trade as well as Obamacare.
